The grand mosque is ready for a peaceful Friday prayer.

Makkah, May 10, 2024: In order to ensure that worshippers and Umrah performers have a seamless and safe Friday prayer experience, the Grand Mosque's General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has mobilized all of its mechanical and human resources.

As part of its preparations, the authority has taken a number of steps to guarantee a simple Friday prayer experience. The Grand Mosque's hallways and entrances will be designed for easy access and departure, and escalators will be installed to control crowds. In order to efficiently guide worshippers to the upper levels and point them in the direction of the Tawaf area in accordance with their needs, the operations teams will collaborate closely with the authorities. These precautions guarantee a safe, orderly, and secure environment for all of the Grand Mosque's worshippers.

In order to guarantee a seamless Friday prayer experience, the authority also asked worshippers to comply with security guards and observers and to follow directions.
