Riyadh, December 19, 2024 – The inaugural day of the highly anticipated Impact Makers Forum “ImpaQ,” held under the patronage of the Minister of Media, Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary, successfully concluded in Riyadh with over 1,500 influencers, experts, and content creators from both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and around the globe in attendance. The event, which aims to highlight the transformative role of influencers in modern society, provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas and showcase their experiences in various fields of influence, from media to technology, and beyond.

The forum’s opening ceremony featured a captivating contemporary performance titled "The Butterfly Effect." This performance creatively illustrated the theme of the forum by symbolizing the significant impact that individuals can have through their actions and words, no matter how small they may seem. The performance set the tone for the forum’s larger message of influence, connectivity, and the power of human interaction. It highlighted the interconnectedness of people across the world and emphasized the lasting impact of positive influence in shaping society.

On the first day, activities at the “Innovation Stage” featured a series of stimulating panel discussions covering a broad range of contemporary topics. One session, "Striking a Balance: Life and Social Media Influence," explored the challenges and responsibilities that come with having a platform in the digital age. Another engaging discussion titled "Saudi Arabia: a Portal to Space" focused on the Kingdom's increasing role in global space exploration. The sessions also highlighted the future of influence in media, innovation, and investment, while drawing attention to the inspiring contributions of female role models in sports and the growing impact of Saudi companies across various sectors. These discussions provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of influence and the opportunities it brings to individuals, businesses, and nations.

At the “Influence Zone,” the forum featured engaging sessions such as "How Creators on Snapchat Craft Their Content" and "From the Green Pitch to Social Media: the Reach and Impact of Sports." These sessions allowed participants to explore the evolution of digital platforms and how they can be leveraged for global impact. The interactive environment provided a rich exchange of ideas and experiences from creators and influencers, showcasing the power of social media in shaping public opinion and driving cultural trends.

Meanwhile, the “Lab” area hosted interactive workshops with over 500 participants. Experts from various fields, including renowned marketing professor Philip Kotler, led discussions on topics like "How Marketing Has Evolved Over the Last 50 Years" and "The Impact of Your Relations and Communications." These workshops provided valuable hands-on learning experiences for attendees and allowed them to deepen their understanding of the principles behind effective marketing, communication, and influence.

The ImpaQ Forum is the largest event of its kind in Saudi Arabia, spanning over 23,000 square meters. The forum features three main areas: the "Innovation Zone," where thought leaders engage in panel discussions; the "Influence Zone," where influencers share their stories and insights; and the "Creativity Zone," dedicated to workshops and creative presentations. Over the course of the two-day forum, more than 40 activities will take place, covering 14 fields of influence, including media, artificial intelligence, sports, tourism, and entertainment.

With over 30,000 visitors expected, the event is set to leave a lasting impact. The opening ceremony was live-streamed to over 1 million viewers worldwide, further expanding the reach of the forum’s message. As the forum continues tomorrow, attendees can look forward to another day of thought-provoking discussions, workshops, and opportunities for networking and collaboration, further reinforcing the Kingdom's role as a global hub for innovation, creativity, and inspiration.
