The ImpaQ Forum's Last Day Begins

The Impact Makers Forum (ImpaQ), organized by the Ministry of Media, concluded with discussions on media and technology transformation, featuring sessions on Saudi Arabia’s global role, content creation, and the impact of artificial intelligence.

Riyadh, December 20, 2024 – The second and final day of the Impact Makers Forum (ImpaQ), hosted by the Ministry of Media, concluded today in Mayadeen Hall, Diriyah. The two-day event, held from December 18 to 19, focused on exploring the transformative impact of media and technology, moving beyond traditional metrics to assess their broader influence on society and the global landscape.


Today’s sessions on the Impact Stage offered a rich variety of discussions. Fahd Hamidaddin, Chief Executive and board member of the Saudi Tourism Authority, delivered a presentation titled “The Spirit of Saudi Arabia: A Window from the Kingdom to the World,” showcasing the Kingdom’s role as a cultural and tourism hub connecting to global audiences. Additional topics on this stage included the influence of living in Saudi Arabia, balancing spontaneity and planning in content creation, and inspirational stories highlighting regional initiatives and individuals making a difference.


The Innovation Stage provided thought-provoking dialogues, including “The Silent Impact,” a historical review of FIFA’s most influential sports events, and discussions about the global future of Saudi products. Sessions also addressed the evolving roles of artificial intelligence and human creativity in shaping the future, as well as innovative strategies for marketing films and series on social media platforms.


In the Lab Area, hands-on workshops engaged participants with practical skills and creative tools. Notable among these was “Infographics: The Art That Speaks,” which offered insights into crafting compelling visual narratives alongside other specialized sessions.


Over the course of the forum, more than 50 new announcements and agreements were unveiled, marking significant strides in media and technology development. With 40 unique programs and events spread across seven thematic areas, the event reflected a collaborative effort involving over 24 local and international partners.


The Impact Makers Forum (ImpaQ) leaves a lasting impression as a platform for innovative ideas and transformative discussions, setting the stage for continued advancements in media and technology to drive meaningful change globally.
