uring the 11th International Thematic Meeting on Industrial Radiation and Radioisotope Measurement Applications (IRRMA-11). This prestigious event, held in Italy under the auspices of the esteemed International Association of Radiation Physics (IRPS), spanned from the 23rd to the 28th of July. The SFDA's poster emerged victorious among a competitive field of 38 posters from various participating organizations. The project titled "National Diagnostic Reference Levels" was presented as a poster at the International Society for Radiation Physics. This collaborative effort involved the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and a panel of esteemed experts in the field. The primary objective of this project was to establish appropriate limits and levels of radiation doses in order to safeguard patients from receiving excessive doses during medical imaging procedures. The diligent work of the team aimed to ensure that patients were not subjected to undue radiation exposure.
