Vienna, 27th May 2024: The 7th Saudi-Austrian Joint Committee's 9th session will start tomorrow in Vienna, Austria. This is an important landmark in their partnership because they will endeavor into developing economic cooperation while helping themselves grow in different fields. More than 20 Governmental entities (public sector) are expected to be part of the Kingdom's official delegation in a two-day visit schedule. This journey will include cultural events, site visits, and bilateral meetings between the two nations. A Saudi-Austrian Investment Forum is scheduled to occur on the sidelines following the main event.The Saudi-Austrian Joint Committee meeting is set on May 28. The most senior Saudi delegation member to grace the session will be Albara Alaskandarani, who is the Deputy Minister for International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Planning. The session will be organized on the Austrian side by Florian Frauscher, Director General of Economic Affairs, Innovation, and International Policy at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy of Austria. The Saudi-Austrian Joint Committee was created in 2004 and since then, has actively engaged in fostering communication and collaboration between the two countries. At this ninth session, taking place in Vienna, Saudi Arabia and Austria will confirm the assignment toward the closer cooperation of the two countries and the opening of new perspectives for bilateral development.
