Between June 4th and June 7th, 2024, a medical staff from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center visited Azerbaijan.
The team met with officials from the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan in order to talk about the preparation of hospitals and other health facilities for volunteer medical efforts.
Such humanitarian intervention is under the volunteer programs designed by KSrelief to benefit the guidelines of medical services in a destitute country.
Baku, June 10, 2024. A volunteer medical delegation from the King Salman Humanitarian Center landed in Azerbaijan on an exploratory working visit June 4-7, 2024. The delegation met with officials at the Ministry of the Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan. These individuals provided them with an update on the center's humanitarian endeavors and work in a variety of fields across the globe. In order to investigate whether or not it is possible to carry out volunteer medical initiatives, the conversation centered on determining the readiness of hospitals and health facilities, as well as the medical specialties that are required. These humanitarian actions are being carried out as part of the Kingdom's volunteer programs, which are represented by KSrelief, in order to provide assistance to the health sector in underserved countries and to improve medical services for patients.
