On the 15th of June, 2024, Musaed bin Abdulaziz Al-Daoud - Mayor of Mecca - visited the Arafat Unified Security Operations Center 911 based in Mecca.
During his presence, Al-Daoud was introduced to all the departments. They also gave him orientation about the center's workings related to reports and contacts.
The Unified Security Operations Center 911 has received a total of 282,450 calls over the past eight days, providing services to pilgrims and Makkah residents in multiple languages.
The event took place on June 15, 2024, in Arafat, a suburb of Makkah. Musaed bin Abdulaziz Al-Daoud, the Mayor of Makkah, paid a visit to the Unified Security Operations Center 911 in the Makkah Region. Colonel Jumaan bin Ali Al-Zahrani, the facility's director, received him during his tour.Al-Daoud observed the various departments of the center during his visit and received a briefing on its workflow operations. These protocols included communications and report management and guaranteed their timely delivery to the appropriate authorities. The facility uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver great services to pilgrims and Makkah locals in multiple languages so that they can interact efficiently. It is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Additionally, Colonel Al-Zahrani presented the services that are offered in the security follow-up room. These services included live broadcast displays for the governorates and holy locations in Makkah, as well as the utilization of artificial intelligence and modern digital technologies.The Unified Security Operations Center 911 has received a total of 282,450 calls over the past eight days. These calls have included everything from service and general inquiries to security reports. The Quality of Life Program, a cornerstone of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, collaborates with the Ministry of Interior to implement the operations centers, a significant undertaking.
