The Makkah Route Initiative Has Ended in Morocco

- The granting of Hajj permits, fingerprinting, and health care service verification were among the services offered.



Thirteen June 2024, Makkah. The "Makkah Route" Initiative, one of the Ministry of Interior's initiatives under the Pilgrim Experience Program, which is part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, concluded its work to serve pilgrims in the Kingdom of Morocco after all of the initiative's beneficiaries arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj rituals in 1445 AH. This initiative, which included eleven airports in seven countries (Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, and Cote d'Ivoire) with dedicated lounges allowed pilgrims from those countries to receive first-rate services until they reached the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


. These services included the reception of pilgrims and the completion of their procedures in their respective countries in an effortless and smooth manner, beginning with the electronic issuance of the Hajj visa, fingerprinting, and verifying the availability of health care services.
