Islamabad, May 31, 2024. The Makkah Route Initiative in Pakistan serves pilgrims effectively every year, according to Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, and it did so again this year, in the year 1445 AH. In addition to highlighting the opening of a new station for the project in Karachi, Ambassador Al-Malki emphasized the remarkable success of pilgrim services offered in line with Saudi Vision 2030 projects. He underlined the Saudi government's main focus on the effort and the program's significance in providing for pilgrims and tourists visiting the two holy sites. Ambassador Al-Malki stressed in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) the outstanding caliber of services provided as part of the Makkah Route Initiative.


This program is being carried out by the Ministry of Interior in several nations, including Pakistan. In order to ensure the program's success, he praised the oversight committees, workers, and coordination with other Pakistani parties of those involved in the effort. He commended the strong bilateral ties between the two nations as well as the project's effective execution over a number of years in Pakistan.


He conveyed his appreciation to the relevant Pakistani government representatives for their support in the initiative team's operations at the international airports in Karachi and Islamabad. The initiative's goal, according to Ambassador Al-Malki, is to make pilgrims' travel requirements easier when they are visiting the Kingdom to fulfill Hajj ceremonies. He underlined that several government agencies were actively working to improve pilgrim services, showcasing the Kingdom's leadership in aiding Muslims across the globe. The program's objective is to guarantee pilgrims' comfort and safety so they can confidently finish their rites and then safely return to their home nations.
