The Minister of Defense meets with the President of the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi on orders from the leadership.

Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi, conveying greetings from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Abu Dhabi, January 1, 2025 – On the instructions of the Saudi leadership, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held an important meeting today with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. This meeting marks a continuation of the strong and enduring relations between the two nations, underpinned by shared goals and a deep commitment to regional stability and prosperity.


Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. He expressed their hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people. In a show of reciprocal respect, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan graciously thanked the Saudi leadership for their kind messages and conveyed his own heartfelt greetings to both King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.


The focus of the meeting was the strengthening of bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
