Riyadh, September 25, 2023, The Ministry of Culture has finalized an agreement with Sakhr Software Company in Kuwait to acquire the Sakhr Contemporary Arabic Lexicon (Al-Mu’jam Al-Mu’asir), including its intellectual property rights. This lexicon enhances contemporary linguistic materials, adhering to modern lexicography principles, with a range of capabilities. Abdullah Al-Washmi, Secretary-General of the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSAA), emphasized the Ministry's support for promoting Arabic language usage in modern applications. Mohammed Al-Sharekh, Founder of Sakhr Software Company, expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, believing it will significantly benefit Arabic language users and receive valuable institutional support.
