Istanbul, May 24, 2024. A key partner in the "Makkah Route project" constituting part of the Pilgrim Experience Program to be held in Istanbul, is the Ministry of Health. This program will help protect the health of the pilgrims before they enter the Kingdom. Through an initiative by the Ministry of Interior, pilgrims who have health certifications can go straight from the airport to their Saudi Arabian accommodations by passing through a special lounge at Istanbul International Airport. This removes the requirement for further steps to be taken when you get there. This initiative is carried out by the Pilgrim Experience Program, which is in its sixth year and is one of the projects that is part of Saudi Vision 2030. Several government ministries worked together to develop it.
