In a statement released by the MWL General Secretariat, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, expressed deep sorrow and concern over the tragic incident. He emphasized that the MWL stands in full solidarity with the people of Germany and extends heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims. Al-Issa condemned the attack as an unjustifiable act of violence, stating that it violates the principles of humanity, peace, and coexistence that all cultures and religions uphold.
The MWL also conveyed its well-wishes for the swift recovery of those injured in the attack, including the many children who were caught in the incident.
