Both the Tajik national dialogue conference and the meeting of the National Development Council (NDC) took place in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. It was attended by President Muhammad Al-Jasser of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the president of the country, and all high-ranking officials. Among the participants of the NDC were representatives from international organizations, development partners, heads of Tajik ministries, and key Tajik agencies. Al-Jasser emphasized that Tajikistan is already playing a leadership role in Central Asia, and IDB is determined to support this role by focusing on its young talent, natural riches, and visionary leadership through the strategic partnership framework. The volume of financing in Tajikistan over the last years significantly increased and amounted to $ 915,5 million of support for 105 projects. Over fifty per cent of the funding has been received by infrastructure projects, totalling five hundred thirty-two million dollars. That is, education projects have gained sixteen per cent of the financing, valued at one hundred fifty million dollars, and agricultural projects have attracted fifteen per cent of the financing, valued at thirteen hundred and six million dollars.
