The President of Religious Affairs States: 'No Hajj without Permission' Initiative Aligns with Sharia Law.



In Makkah on May 14, 2024, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, commended the "Hajj is Worship and Civilized Behavior" initiative spearheaded by Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, under the banner "No Hajj Without a Permit."


Now in its 16th iteration, the campaign aims to educate individuals about the regulations and guidelines ensuring the safety and convenience of pilgrims, following the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


Al-Sudais emphasized that the "No Hajj without a Permit" campaign is firmly grounded in Sharia texts, prioritizing pilgrims' comfort by considering their capabilities. He highlighted that the campaign adheres to Sharia principles, promoting benefits and averting harm. He emphasized that the campaign was launched to safeguard pilgrims' safety and comfort, urging everyone to endorse and cooperate with the relevant authorities.
