"The Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice Commission reaches 1.6 million people with awareness programs during Ramadan."

Riyadh, April 1, 2025 – The General Presidency of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice launched a series of awareness programs during Ramadan, reaching over 1.6 million people across the Kingdom. As part of these efforts, the commission organized an awareness program highlighting the virtues of fasting and prayer. The initiative included 33,310 awareness tours, 140 lectures and discussions, and the distribution of 2,434 informational materials. Additionally, 28,701 awareness panels were set up, 77 mobile prayer rooms were deployed, and the awareness platform and digital exhibition were activated 52 times. These initiatives align with the commission’s goal of promoting awareness and encouraging religious observance during the holy month, benefiting both citizens and residents throughout the Kingdom.
