The Religious Affairs Presidency has initiated a campaign to encourage moderation and tolerance during the Hajj.

An initiative was launched in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, by the Presidency for Religious Affairs and the General Presidency for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.

Throughout the Hajj season, the campaign aims to promote moderation and tolerance in addition to ethical and humanitarian advocacy.

The program provides guidance to pilgrims and helps them correct any errors they may make during rituals, while also emphasizing the importance of following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.

The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, in collaboration with the General Presidency of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, launched an initiative in Makkah on June 12, 2024. The initiative aimed at reinforcing the culture of tolerance and moderation during Hajj, as well as promoting ethical compassionate advocacy; helping pilgrims as well as correcting them if they go wrong in performing rites according to Prophet Muhammad’s teachings.
