Baku, February 5, 2025 – A high-ranking delegation from the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) commenced a visit to the center for Arabic studies in Azerbaijan, marking a significant step in the academy's broader mission to promote the Arabic language across global educational and academic platforms. The visit, which will conclude on February 6, serves as a continuation of KSGAAL's strategic efforts to enhance the global presence of Arabic, particularly in countries with growing interest in the language.

The delegation, led by KSGAAL Secretary-General Abdullah Al-Washmi, is focused on assessing the center’s past activities and charting the course for future collaborations aimed at expanding the reach of Arabic education. Among the key topics on the agenda are the development of Arabic language programs for non-native speakers, the refinement of existing educational curricula, and the introduction of innovative projects designed to improve teaching methodologies.

The visit also includes a series of productive discussions with learners, providing a platform to address challenges in Arabic education and explore tailor-made solutions for overcoming those barriers. As part of the ongoing cultural exchange, KSGAAL plans to leverage its wide array of educational platforms to promote learning opportunities for Arabic language enthusiasts.

In a ceremonial highlight, the center will honor students who excelled in a recent poetry competition, underscoring the importance of preserving and promoting Arabic literary traditions. Additionally, a special training course will be offered to enhance students' linguistic capabilities, empowering them with skills to further their Arabic proficiency.

Furthermore, the visit will see the release of a translated version of the book 100 Questions About the Arabic Language in Azerbaijani, making the vital resource more accessible to the local population. Al-Washmi emphasized that the academy’s visit reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting global initiatives that foster the Arabic language’s expansion, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s broader cultural and humanitarian outreach efforts. Through this collaboration, KSGAAL aims to solidify its leadership role in shaping Arabic language education worldwide, thereby contributing to deeper cultural ties between the Arab world and other regions.
