Riyadh, October 10, 2023, The Second Saudi Forum for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, organized by the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution at the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, successfully concluded in Riyadh. The event attracted various ministers and a gathering of local and international experts specializing in fourth industrial revolution technologies.
During the forum sessions, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, highlighted the commitment of the ministry and the industrial ecosystem in Saudi Arabia to promote research, development, and innovation-driven industries. He emphasized their efforts to create initiatives, systems, and programs aimed at attracting investors and facilitating technology transfer and localization. Al-Khorayef pointed out the notable transformation in the automotive industry sector, underscoring its role in the Kingdom's industrial sector evolution.
An important development at the forum was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services. The agreement aims to establish policies supporting the integration of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies and innovation within transport and logistics services.
