Jeddah, February 13, 2025, The National Center for Non-Profit Sector hosted the Sustainability Forum for Nonprofit Organizations in Jeddah, bringing together representatives from more than 120 newly established organizations. The event aimed to enhance the sector’s sustainability and address key challenges affecting its growth, providing a comprehensive platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing among stakeholders.
The forum focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of nonprofit organizations by addressing critical areas such as financial sustainability, organizational structure, and resource management. Recognizing sustainability as a major challenge, the center is implementing a range of initiatives and programs designed to strengthen the sector’s resilience, promote long-term growth, and increase its developmental impact across Saudi Arabia.
Discussions covered a wide range of critical topics, including an introduction to the National Center’s pivotal role in overseeing and supporting the nonprofit sector. Leading stakeholders, including the Associations Support Fund, the Council of Foundations, and the Civil Society Organizations Authority, participated in the event, offering their expertise and insights into improving the sector’s overall performance. Specialized supervisory units also contributed to the forum, emphasizing the importance of compliance, transparency, and best practices in nonprofit governance.
