MAKKAH April 1, 2025: A variety of activities are available for both locals and visitors at the Hira cultural district in Makkah.

“Makkah Greets Us,” held from March 31 to April 5 — from the second day of Eid Al-Fitr to the seventh of Shawwal — is organized by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites. The event offers a wide range of recreational, cultural, and heritage activities suitable for all ages.

The goal of the event is to “strengthen community ties, showcase Makkah’s historical and cultural significance, and create a unique entertainment environment for families and children,” according to the Saudi Press Agency.

“Makkah Greets Us” will feature cultural and entertainment activities focusing on Islamic culture and historical landmarks, along with traditional folklore performances, and will be presented in 26 languages.

The event is free and open to the public.
