Riyadh, February 2, 2025 – In an exciting announcement that has set the stage for one of the most highly anticipated events in combat sports, Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), launched the official trailer for the eagerly awaited rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol. The highly charged showdown is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in Riyadh, where the two titans will compete for the title of Unified Light Heavyweight World Champion.

Titled The Last Crescendo, the upcoming fight serves as a sequel to the pair's first monumental encounter, which took place during the opening of the Riyadh Season in October 2024. That thrilling contest saw Artur Beterbiev crowned the first undisputed light heavyweight champion in over two decades, securing the prestigious title by a majority decision. The victory solidified Beterbiev’s place in boxing history as the first fighter to capture all four major light heavyweight belts in the era of the four-belt system. Now, with The Last Crescendo, fans can expect an electrifying conclusion to their fierce rivalry, as the rematch will determine once and for all who reigns supreme in the light heavyweight division.

The event promises to deliver an unforgettable night of boxing action, with several additional high-profile bouts supporting the main event. Among the exciting undercard matchups, Daniel Dubois will square off against Joseph Parker for the coveted IBF Heavyweight title, while Shakur Stevenson will face off against Floyd Schofield for the WBC Lightweight title. Also on the fight card, Carlos Adames will challenge Hamzah Sheeraz for the Middleweight title, and Vergil Ortiz Jr. will take on Israil Madrimov in a highly anticipated clash for the interim Super Welterweight title.

The evening’s action will also feature a fierce showdown between Zhilei Zhang and Agit Kabayel for the interim Heavyweight title, and a thrilling contest between Joshua Buatsi and Callum Smith for the interim Light Heavyweight title, further intensifying the competition on what promises to be a historic night of boxing.

The promotional campaign for the event has already begun to captivate audiences, with appearances by key figures including Artur Beterbiev, Dmitry Bivol, and legendary ring announcer Michael Buffer, alongside Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Sheikh. As anticipation builds, this fight is shaping up to be a monumental moment in the world of combat sports, with Riyadh set to host an unforgettable night of action that will leave boxing fans on the edge of their seats.

As the date draws closer, all eyes will be on the Saudi capital, where the stakes could not be higher. The Last Crescendo is poised to not only cap off one of the most dramatic rivalries in recent boxing history but also solidify Riyadh’s position as a global hub for major sporting events.
