Makkah, March 28, 2025 – The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has intensified its enrichment programs for the last Friday of Ramadan 1446 AH, aiming to enhance the experience of Umrah performers and visitors in Makkah and Madinah.


The initiatives feature expanded religious lessons on the significance of Friday, with Sheikh Dr. Yasser Al-Dossari delivering the Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque and Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Hudhaifi at the Prophet’s Mosque.


Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs, called for intensified efforts to manage crowds, implement operational plans, and ensure a safe and spiritually enriching atmosphere. He reaffirmed the presidency’s commitment to round-the-clock oversight in coordination with partners and religious authorities to promote understanding and observance of Friday’s virtues.
