
New York, February 19, 2025 – Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji, met today with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sierra Leone, Francess Alghali, at the Saudi Mission to the United Nations in New York. The meeting marked an important opportunity for both officials to discuss and evaluate the current state of relations between their two countries and explore ways to strengthen and expand cooperation in a variety of fields.
During the discussions, both Deputy Ministers focused on enhancing bilateral ties, emphasizing the need for greater collaboration across key areas such as trade, investment, humanitarian assistance, and regional security. Recognizing the importance of mutual understanding and collaboration, they agreed on the value of deepening cooperation to further the development goals of both nations, with an emphasis on sustainable growth and shared prosperity.

Ambassador Al-Wasel’s participation highlighted Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting the growth of its diplomatic relations with Sierra Leone and other nations across Africa.
