Riyadh, December 13, 2024 – Today, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed El-Khereiji, hosted a meeting with Dya-Eddin Bamakhrama, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Djibouti, exploring avenues for deeper cooperation across various sectors, and addressing a range of issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, both sides expressed their shared commitment to advancing the partnership between their nations, particularly in areas such as trade, economic development, and regional security. The Vice Minister and the Djiboutian Ambassador also explored opportunities for expanding diplomatic, cultural, and people-to-people ties, reflecting the long-standing friendship and strategic importance of their relationship.
Ambassador Bamakhrama, who serves as the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, highlighted the importance of Saudi Arabia’s role in the region and emphasized Djibouti’s desire to enhance collaboration on regional and global challenges.
