
RIYADH, April 2, 2025: The White House confirmed on Tuesday that US President Donald Trump will visit Saudi Arabia in May.
Press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated, “The president will be traveling to Saudi Arabia in May. We will provide specific dates and details as soon as we can.”
This will be Trump’s first foreign trip during his second term as president.
On the possibility of a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, Leavitt mentioned that Trump “has made it clear that’s his goal” and that “his team remains engaged on it daily.”
Saudi Arabia has hosted talks involving the US and Russia, as well as the US and Ukraine, with Trump facilitating efforts toward a ceasefire.
