Third Arab Military Volleyball Championship begins in Taif at King Fahd Air Base

Taif, December 18, 2023, The third Arab Military Volleyball Championship (AMVC) has commenced in Taif, hosted by the Armed Forces at King Fahd Air Base. The event was attended by Major General Khalid Al-Sheibah, the commander of the Taif Military Region.

Brigadier General Sultan Al-Shahri, the director of the championship, welcomed the representatives of the participating countries in his opening speech at the AMVC. He emphasized the generous support that sports receive in the Armed Forces, particularly from the Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The AMVC is scheduled to last for a week, featuring athletes representing Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, and Algeria. This championship serves as a platform for military personnel from different Arab countries to come together, compete, and strengthen bonds through sports.
