Madinah, February 19, 2024, The latest cohort of participants in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visit embarked from Madinah to Makkah to perform the sacred rituals of Umrah, marking the third group to partake in this year's program.
During their stay in Madinah, pilgrims seized the opportunity to offer prayers at the revered Prophet's Mosque, extending heartfelt greetings to the Prophet Muhammad and his esteemed companions. Exploring the city's historical and spiritual landmarks, they visited significant sites under the careful supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. This included visits to the Quba Mosque, the Martyrs of Uhud Cemetery, and Mount Uhud, also known as the Archers' Mount.
Additionally, participants
enjoyed enriching visits to the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex and the International Fairs and Museums showcasing the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization.
As they bid farewell to Madinah, pilgrims conveyed their profound appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for extending hospitality through the program and ensuring the provision of comprehensive services. They fervently prayed for Allah's protection over the Kingdom, its perpetuation of security and peace, and its safeguarding from all harm.
