This Hajj season, about 100 Makkah-based scouts serve pilgrims.

During the Hajj season in 2024, 96 scouts and leaders from the Makkah Region's General Administration of Education are assisting the pilgrims at the House of God.

There are a total of 16 leaders and scouts from Al-Layth, 16 from Al-Qunfudhah, and 64 from Makkah working with these scouts from the Ministry of Education.

Engaging in scouting empowers scouts to help pilgrims and assists in the conduct of Hajj rituals. Another area of focus for the Ministry of Education is training its teachers and learners on engaging in scouting activities and programs.

Makkah, June 12, 2024." During the Hajj season 1445 H, a total of 96 scouts and leaders from the General Administration of Education in the Makkah Region are providing assistance to the pilgrims of the House of God. These individuals are working alongside scouts from the Ministry of Education. For example, there were sixteen leaders and scouts from Al-Layth, sixteen from Al-Qunfudhah, and sixty-four from Makkah. Scouts' involvement improves their ability to assist pilgrims and makes the performance of Hajj ceremonies easier. The Ministry of Education's efforts to educate students and staff to participate in a variety of scouting programs and activities, and to collaborate with national and community groups to acquire the necessary information and skills, also serve as a source of inspiration.
