Madinah, March 29, 2025 – As the Prophet's Mosque experiences a surge in worshippers during the last 10 nights of Ramadan, volunteerism plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience, with thousands of individuals from various government and charitable sectors contributing.
Volunteers provide a wide range of services, especially during peak times such as iftar and the Qiyam and Tahajjud prayers, assisting elderly and disabled worshippers with transportation and wheelchair access, distributing iftar meals and water, and managing crowd flow during prayers and exits.
They also offer guidance services, including navigation assistance and multilingual translation, to help visitors navigate the mosque. Additionally, volunteers support healthcare efforts by delivering first aid and addressing behaviors that may hinder smooth movement.
These efforts demonstrate a deep commitment to serving worshippers at the Prophet's Mosque, highlighting the connection between faith and community service.
