Makkah, Saudi Arabia – March 16, 2025, In an effort to enhance the spiritual atmosphere for worshippers during the holy month of Ramadan, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has intensified its operations to distribute incense and fragrances at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. The authority revealed that, as part of its Ramadan operations, it conducts 20 rounds of fragrance distribution daily, using two kilograms of high-quality natural oud. The fragrance is meticulously applied to some of the most sacred areas within the mosque, including the Black Stone and the Rukan Yamani, five times a day before each prayer. The oud is complemented by the aromatic richness of amber and rose oil, creating a soothing and divine scent that permeates the atmosphere, enhancing the spiritual experience for all visitors.
