Riyadh, March 10, 2024, The National Center for Meteorology forecasts the potential formation of thunderclouds across various regions, including parts of Najran, Jazan, and the eastern sections of Tabuk, extending towards Hail and the Northern Borders (Rafha).
In addition, dusty winds are expected to sweep through portions of Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, and Madinah.
Over the Red Sea, winds are anticipated to blow from the southwest to northwest, with speeds ranging from 15 to 35 km/h in the northern region, while in the central and southern areas, winds will veer from southerly to southwesterly, reaching speeds of 10 to 30 km/h. Wave heights are projected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the north and from half a meter to a meter in the central and southern parts, with sea conditions relatively calm.
Meanwhile, in the Arabian Gulf, winds are forecasted to vary from southwesterly to southeasterly in the northern sector and from northeasterly to northwesterly in the southern region, with speeds ranging from 15 to 35 km/h in the north and 10 to 30 km/h in the south. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern part, with relatively calm sea conditions prevailing.
