Riyadh, March 13, 2024, The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds in various regions of Saudi Arabia. These regions include Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah, and Madinah, with the weather phenomena potentially extending to Hail and Qassim, leading to reduced visibility.
Additionally, dust-stirring winds are expected to persist in parts of Eastern, Riyadh, and Najran regions, as well as some areas of Northern Borders, Jawf, and Tabuk regions.
Over the Red Sea, wind patterns are anticipated to be northerly to northwesterly in the northern section, with speeds ranging from 10 to 30 km/h. In the southern and central parts, winds are expected to be southeasterly to southerly, with speeds between 15 to 35 km/h.
Meanwhile, in the Arabian Gulf, wind directions are forecasted to be northerly to northwesterly in the northern and central areas, with speeds ranging from 12 to 34 km/h. In the southern part, winds are expected to be northeasterly to southeasterly, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h.
