Thunderstorms, Strong Winds, and Dust Expected in Multiple Regions of Saudi Arabia

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), several regions in Saudi Arabia, including Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah, and Riyadh, are expected to experience thundershowers accompanied by strong winds mixed with dust today. This weather phenomenon is also forecasted to extend to parts of Qassim, Hail, Madinah, Tabuk, Northern Borders, and Jawf regions. Additionally, fog formation is expected in certain areas of these regions.

In the Red Sea, the winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly in the central and southern parts, with speeds ranging from 15 to 35 km/h. Meanwhile, the southern part will experience southeasterly to southwesterly winds, registering speeds of 15 to 40 km/h, along with thunderstorms. In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be northerly to northwesterly, with speeds ranging from 20 to 45 km/h.
