The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (CPVPV), led by Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Sanad, General President, announced on May 28, 2024, in Riyadh, that the organization will dedicate all of its resources to serving pilgrims, Umrah performers, and guests during the Hajj season, which begins in 1445 AH. He made the point that these endeavors align with the leadership's goals, which include using a range of programs and activities to position the presidency as a trailblazing example of service delivery. In his speech, Dr. Al-Sanad underlined the General Presidency's dedication to provide top-notch services that are customized to pilgrims' ritual needs. The presidency has finished its preparations by distributing digital and smart awareness tools in multiple languages to fifty awareness centers and field sites located in seven major pilgrimage areas in Makkah and Madinah, as well as at land border crossings.

This will help in the realization of the goal. In addition, the president has entered into strategic cooperation with relevant enterprises related to the pilgrimage industry and has made possible technology service platforms at five global airports, three Haramain High-Speed Railway stations, and three locations within the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. According to Dr. Al-Sanad, these projects demonstrate how important the Kingdom views the Two Holy Mosques and the pilgrims visiting them. They also form part of the responsible government's noble dedication to pilgrims.
