Jazan, January 29, 2025 – The Governor of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, is set to preside over the opening ceremony of the International Saudi Coffee Exhibition 2025, which will take place tomorrow at the Prince Sultan Cultural Centre in Al-Dayer Governorate. The exhibition, which will run for nine consecutive days, aims to spotlight Saudi coffee as a key national product, offering both local and international participants a platform to explore the multifaceted coffee industry. The Deputy Governor of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, who also chairs the Supervisory Committee of the Strategic Office for the Development of Jazan Region, will be in attendance, underscoring the importance of the event to the region’s economic and cultural development.

The International Saudi Coffee Exhibition 2025 is set to be a landmark event, bringing together a wide array of stakeholders with an interest in the coffee sector, including producers, investors, entrepreneurs, and coffee enthusiasts from across the globe. Over the course of the exhibition, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in various activities, such as live coffee roasting demonstrations, seminars, and specialized workshops. These events, led by experts both from within Saudi Arabia and internationally, will provide valuable insights into the latest trends, techniques, and innovations in the coffee industry.

One of the exhibition’s primary goals is to highlight the economic and cultural significance of Saudi coffee, not only as a beloved beverage but also as a key component of the Kingdom's agricultural heritage. Saudi coffee, known for its distinct flavors and rich history, has long been an integral part of the Kingdom's social and cultural fabric. The exhibition seeks to enhance the global recognition of Saudi coffee, positioning it as a product of substantial economic value and potential.

This year’s exhibition will also serve as a platform to showcase the investment opportunities available within the coffee sector and related fields, presenting a comprehensive view of the industry’s growth potential. By emphasizing the commercial aspects of Saudi coffee production, the event aims to stimulate investment and foster partnerships that will further develop and expand the Kingdom’s coffee industry.

The choice to feature the regions of Aseer, Al-Baha, and Najran in the exhibition reflects a collaborative effort among the southern regions of Saudi Arabia, which are renowned for their agricultural richness and long-standing coffee cultivation traditions. These areas are known for their mountainous landscapes, which provide ideal conditions for growing high-quality coffee beans, contributing to the Kingdom's reputation as a major coffee producer in the region.

In addition to its focus on Saudi coffee’s economic and cultural importance, the exhibition will serve as an invaluable marketing platform for local coffee producers. By providing exposure to national and international markets, the event will help raise awareness of the distinctive characteristics of Saudi coffee, promote sustainable farming practices, and celebrate the heritage of coffee cultivation in the Kingdom’s southern regions.

With its potential to attract a large number of visitors, including coffee industry professionals, tourists, and cultural enthusiasts, the International Saudi Coffee Exhibition 2025 is expected to boost domestic tourism, increase public awareness about Saudi Arabia’s coffee culture, and support the growth of local coffee businesses. The exhibition represents a significant step toward establishing Saudi coffee as a globally recognized product and strengthening its role in the Kingdom’s economic and cultural landscape.

The event promises to be a celebration of Saudi Arabia’s rich coffee heritage while highlighting the innovative future of the industry, providing both local and international participants with a unique opportunity to engage in the Kingdom’s burgeoning coffee culture.
