Riyadh, February 29, 2024, The Tourism Development Fund (TDF) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IE University in Spain, a prominent higher education institution dedicated to training influential leaders. The primary objective of this collaboration is to implement customized educational programs and training courses for TDF employees, in alignment with the National Tourism Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030. The MoU, signed by TDF CEO Qusai bin Abdullah Al-Fakhri and IE University President Santiago Iñiguez, is aimed at enhancing the knowledge, awareness, and competencies of TDF employees in the tourism sector.
Al-Fakhri emphasized that the MoU represents a significant step toward fostering positive interaction between the tourism sector and educational institutions. The ultimate goal is to elevate human capabilities, equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge, and align development efforts with quality and excellence standards.
