Riyadh, March 22, 2025 – The Ministry of Tourism reported that by the end of 2024, the number of licensed hospitality facilities in the Madinah Region exceeded 450, marking a 93% increase from 2023. The number of licensed rooms also grew by 62% compared to the previous year, nearing 62,000 rooms. According to the ministry’s data, Madinah ranked third in Saudi Arabia for the number of licensed hospitality facilities, following Makkah and Riyadh regions.
