Airports are equipped with 11 specialized lounges and staffed by over 18,000 personnel, with innovations like the “Traveler Without Baggage” program and Zamzam pre-shipping to ease pilgrim journeys.
Land transport is fortified with over 25,000 buses and 9,000 taxis, supervised by 180 officers across 20 checkpoints. Roads have undergone extensive upgrades, covering 7,400 km and 247 bridges, monitored by over 300 inspectors and cutting-edge technologies.
Rail efforts include more than 2,000 trips on the Al-Mashaaer Metro, transporting 2 million passengers across the Holy Sites, and the Haramain High Speed Railway—linking Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah in record time. Meanwhile, the Saudi Ports Authority readies Jeddah Port to receive 5,000 sea pilgrims, supported by seamless logistics.
Saudi Post and the National Transport Safety Center are also operationally mobilized—offering 24/7 delivery, medical logistics, and emergency response infrastructure.
