Transportation Services for Pilgrims During the Hajj Are Provided by the Royal Commission for Makkah City


From the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites, visitors have simple and comfortable transportation accessible during the Hajj season.



Shuttle busses are arranged to bring roughly 365,000 pilgrims to and from the Grand Mosque.



This initiative aims to ease travel, enhance the pilgrim experiences, and provide a dependable means of transportation.




June 9, 2024, Makkah. With the participation of its stakeholders, the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites is providing religious visitors with smooth and comfortable transportation alternatives during the on-going Hajj season. To transport around 365,000 pilgrims to and from the Grand Mosque, the commission has coordinated 7,39 shuttle buses. This project is set to elevate the pilgrims' experience by accelerating their movement and implementing a straightforward transport network.
