Turkish Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Emrullah İşler, and his delegation visited the Hira Cultural District in Makkah, exploring key cultural and historical sites.

Makkah, January 22, 2025 – Dr. Emrullah İşler, the Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the Hira Cultural District in Makkah today. The visit highlighted the shared cultural and historical ties between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, providing an opportunity for the delegation to explore one of the Kingdom's premier cultural landmarks.


The delegation commenced their tour at the Revelation Exhibition, an immersive display that beautifully narrates the profound story of revelation during the time of the prophets, peace be upon them. Through a combination of historical artifacts, multimedia displays, and interactive exhibits, the exhibition offered a detailed exploration of the spiritual and historical significance of the revelations, which form the foundation of Islam. The exhibit provides visitors with a deeper understanding of the divine messages that shaped the course of history and continue to resonate in the hearts of millions.


Following the exhibition, the delegation visited the Holy Quran Museum, an extraordinary cultural institution that houses rare collections of manuscripts, ancient texts, and priceless artifacts related to the Quran. The museum’s advanced technological exhibits further enhance the visitor experience, blending the rich history of the Holy Quran with modern methods of storytelling and preservation. The museum showcases the deep reverence Muslims hold for the Quran, highlighting the manuscript's historical journey from its origins to its widespread dissemination.


The visit to these distinguished cultural sites underscored the importance of preserving and sharing the rich heritage and history that defines Makkah, a city that holds immeasurable significance in the Islamic world.
