Riyadh, August 23, 2023, Conjoined twins Hasan and Hussein, along with their mother, arrived at King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh today from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, following instructions from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The twins were immediately sent to King Abdullah Specialized Children's Hospital in the Ministry of National Guard after arriving at the airport for additional evaluation of their condition and to consider whether a surgical separation would be possible. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Head of the Medical Team and General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), noted that these activities show the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's profound sense of compassion and unity. He thanked HRH the Crown Prince and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for their consistent support of Saudi Arabia's Conjoined Twins Program and other humanitarian endeavors. The mother of the Tanzanian twins expressed her sincere gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for their humanitarian acts as well as for the welcoming warmth and generosity they received while visiting the Kingdom.
