DUBAI, April 2, 2025: Two fighters from Morocco will compete at ONE Championship’s upcoming event, ONE Fight Night 30: Kryklia vs. Knowles, which will take place in the early hours of Saturday, April 5.
Mouhcine Chafi will battle the in-form English fighter George Jarvis in a lightweight Muay Thai match at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. Nicknamed “The Assassin,” Chafi will look to recover from two consecutive losses, including one against former world title contender Sinsamut Klinmee. Despite his tough start at ONE Championship, the 27-year-old Moroccan has the skill set to make a comeback, with a 31-7 Muay Thai and kickboxing record and a WBC Light Heavyweight Muay Thai title under his belt.
Jarvis, on the other hand, aims for his fourth straight win in ONE Championship to extend his professional record to 26-4. After losing his debut by split decision, the 24-year-old English fighter has since won two decision victories and a knockout against Thailand’s Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong.
Alongside Chafi, Elmehdi El Jamari will make his ONE Championship debut on the same card. The 27-year-old Moroccan, younger brother of ONE athlete Zakaria El Jamari, will face Thailand’s Thongpoon PK Saenchai in a strawweight Muay Thai bout. El Jamari has an impressive background, holding multiple Muay Thai titles, including seven Moroccan championships, two Arab championships, and a world title from WBC and K-1.
His opponent, Saenchai, had a strong start in the promotion with four wins, including three knockouts, but lost to Zakaria El Jamari. After a decision loss to Rui Botelho, Saenchai bounced back with a technical knockout victory against former world title challenger Danial Williams.
ONE Fight Night 30: Kryklia vs. Knowles will feature two world title matches. In the main event, Ukraine’s two-sport, two-weight division ONE world champion Roman Kryklia will defend his ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai world title against England’s WBC Muay Thai heavyweight champion Lyndon Knowles. The co-main event will see two-sport ONE world champion Regian Eersel defend his ONE Lightweight Kickboxing world title against former champion Alexis Nicolas in a thrilling trilogy fight, which is tied at one win each.
The event will also include the return of fan-favorite Seksan Or Kwanmuang, undefeated Uzbek star Sanzhar Zakirov, Brazilian jiu-jitsu star Fabricio Andrey’s debut, and a key featherweight Muay Thai match between Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong and Nico Carrillo, who aims to recover from his first promotional loss against Algeria’s Nabil Anane in their ONE Interim Bantamweight Muay Thai world title fight at ONE 170 in January.
