Jeddah, May 27, 2024. Two virtual training sessions were provided today by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The first and second workshops were referred to as ASAS and TERHAB, respectively.The aim of the seminars is to enhance the performance of pilgrim service workers and to increase understanding among those who organize and oversee the Hajj process, ultimately leading to the provision of high-quality services. Attended by officials and delegates from the Hajj Ministries of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the training program also saw several other important OIC institutions and organizations. These two seminars will be conducted during the present Hajj season of 1445H in collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia by the General Secretariat of OIC. The program aims to assist the Islamic pilgrims traveling to sacred locations for performing the Hajj and Umrah.
