
Jeddah, March 11, 2025 – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded his official visit to Saudi Arabia and departed from Jeddah today. His departure from the Kingdom was marked by a formal farewell ceremony at King Abdulaziz International Airport, where he was seen off by several high-ranking Saudi officials, underscoring the significance of his visit.
Among those present at the airport to bid farewell to President Zelenskyy were Jeddah Governor Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, who extended his personal best wishes to the Ukrainian leader, and Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, who accompanied the president throughout his visit. Other senior officials also attended the farewell ceremony, reflecting the importance of the visit in strengthening Saudi-Ukrainian relations.
During his stay in Saudi Arabia, President Zelenskyy held crucial discussions with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, where the two leaders explored opportunities to enhance bilateral ties, particularly in areas of trade, security, and humanitarian support.
