Makkah, April 10, 2025 – Umm Al-Qura University has launched a new Arabic language program tailored for Thai learners, organized by the university’s Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers in collaboration with the Institute for Research, Studies, and Consulting Services.
This initiative supports the university’s broader mission to promote Arabic language education and builds upon existing agreements aimed at helping Umrah and Hajj pilgrims acquire Arabic language skills and better understand its cultural significance.
The institute is dedicated to preparing qualified instructors of Arabic and Islamic culture for non-native speakers. It provides training grounded in modern teaching methodologies and theories, strengthens knowledge of Islamic culture, and delivers Arabic instruction that meets global educational standards. Additionally, the institute plays a key role in advancing the Arabic language on an international scale.
