Makkah, February 20, 2024, Participants of this year's Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visit expressed their overwhelming delight upon being chosen, describing the experience as one filled with "eternal happiness" that will forever hold a cherished place in their hearts.
Embarking on a journey that took them from Madinah to Makkah for Umrah, these pilgrims eagerly shared the emotions surrounding their selection with their families, relatives, and neighbors, from the moment of announcement to their departure for the Kingdom.
The third cohort of this year's program, meticulously overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, comprises a total of 250 male and female pilgrims.
Ibrahim Ezzuldin Al-Qailani from Iraq underscored the profound joy of being in the presence of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the sense of camaraderie among fellow participants. He lauded the noble and generous invitation extended to him to perform Umrah as part of the program, which he described as a reflection of "genuine brotherhood."
Akram Al-Dulaimi, also from Iraq, recounted his happiest surprise upon learning of his selection, describing the moment he was informed that he would embark on a journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as one of the honored guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program.
Mukhtar Babatag from Mauritania shared his profound joy upon receiving a message announcing his selection as one of the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, to perform Umrah. He expressed gratitude to those responsible for organizing this blessed program.
Abdulqadir Imbarki from Senegal regarded his selection as a precious opportunity extended by the leadership of the Kingdom to the Islamic nation. He vividly recalled the moment he received the call while with his mother and family, and the ensuing celebrations that filled him with immense happiness and joy.
