Washington, April 13, 2024, Today, it was announced that the United Nations (UN) has named Muhannad Hadi from Jordan as the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process. Hadi, who has been serving as a regional humanitarian coordinator for the Syrian crisis since 2020, brings with him over 30 years of experience in humanitarian affairs and development work.
