Madinah, December 19, 2024 – The second group of Umrah performers participating in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guest Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation for the current Hijri year 1446 AH has officially arrived in Madinah. This group consists of 250 male and female Umrah performers from 14 European countries, namely Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Austria, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Britain, Czechia, Netherlands, and Sweden. The first batch of arrivals from this group, totaling 34 individuals from Romania and Bulgaria, marked the beginning of their spiritual journey.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guest Program is a long-standing initiative that offers the opportunity for Muslims from around the world to perform Umrah and visit the sacred sites of Madinah and Makkah, ensuring that they can partake in these religious rites with ease and comfort. The current program, running throughout the year, will accommodate a total of 1,000 male and female Umrah performers, selected from 66 countries. These guests will be organized into four groups, ensuring a smooth and organized flow of participants throughout the program.
Upon their arrival in Madinah, the guests expressed profound gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their generosity and hospitality. They described the program as a "valuable gift" from the Kingdom, one that not only serves Islam but also strengthens the bonds of the global Muslim community.
