Riyadh, October 31, 2023, With the intention of fostering collaboration in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), the Executive Board of UNESCO has authorized an official six-year relationship with King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). According to Dr. Amal Al-Hazzaa, Secretary General of Mawhiba, this partnership reflects the foundation's leading role in identifying talent and empowering students in STEM locally, regionally, and globally. This is because it is the foundation's responsibility to raise an empowered and innovative generation that is capable of changing the world in a significant way, finding solutions to a variety of problems, and advancing the sustainable development and prosperity of humanity.
